Shotover Jet - Kawarau Rafting

Feel the thrill, excitement and adrenalin rush that is the world famous Shotover Jet. Jump aboard the big red boats and speed through the narrow Shotover River Canyons. Then get ready for your rafting adventure on the Kawarau River.

A great introduction to white water rafting, the four rapids on the Kawarau River are exciting and the scenery is superb. This rafting trip provides a great taste of whitewater action with plenty of opportunities to splash around, try a cliff jump or even swim through a rapid!

What to bring:

• Swimwear
• Towel
• Warm clothes during winter periods

Minimum Age:

• 13 years old
• Those under 16 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
• Those under 18 years must have signed parent/guardian consent

• Pregnant women are unable to participate in any of these activities
• If you have any previous neck or back injuries please provide details

• Graded 2 – 3
  

Swimming Requirement:

• MUST be able to swim
